Perspex

Perspex cast acrylic sheet has been around for many years and Plastic World is an Official Perspex Stockist and Distributor. It is a material that is appropriate for a vast range of applications by virtue of its very versatile set of properties. Available in thicknesses from 3mm up to 25mm in clear, it can be supplied in full sheets or panels cut to size. Even though Perspex can be produced in virtually any colour, the range of colours available ex stock is aligned with a basic set of standard colours which relates to market relevance and demand. Special surface finishes such as frost or silk are also possible, mostly on special order bulk basis apart from clear and opal which are stocked with the frosted surface texture. The availability of processes such as flat-bed printing, silk-screening and the like allow for the introduction of colour as a viable alternative.

Perspex can be used for anything from basic to very involved fabrications. Anything from simple point of sale signage and displays through to highly specialized functional models and systems can be created by application of appropriate processes and procedures. These would include cutting, bending, drilling, laser cutting, gluing, polishing, etc. Our workshop is well equipped and highly skilled in the creation of custom fabrications either as one-offs or longer runs.

Apart from the locally stocked range of colours, Perspex can be matched to virtually any colour. There is a vast library of colours already in existence and these can be ordered in pallet lots of 19 sheets of 3mm material keeping the order and shipping lead times in mind when following this route.
